Another of the newest kids on the Northern Quarter block, Lost In Tokyo is still finding its feet as a Japanese-themed underground drinking den from the owners of Damson and sister bar right next door Guilty By Association.

Located on the increasingly popular Stevenson Square, the L-shaped bar has ample seating space with cosy booths and high tables a-plenty. The decor is suitably oriental with giant murals and glowing lanterns making a nice change from exposed brickwork and those dangly, fancy bulbs.

The house grog, Red Dragon, is remarkably similar to the Guilty lager served next door, while quirky cocktails are served in noodle bowls and geisha heads and a decent selection of Japanese whiskies prop up the back bar.

Currently (and understandably) a bit of a GBA clone, LIT will need to work hard in the future to really stand out in the shuffle, but it’s a promising and friendly start.
